So that Lou Minatti guy has been saying some dire things about California last year in his blog…
I tell my wife I’m going to use this holiday time to reflect upon this-
She gives me a look which is hard to describe but which I interpret to mean she agrees with me completely as I tell her we shall do what Californians always do in time of crisis- head for the beach!

Once poolside, I began to ponder the challenges faced by Californians this year…
